MBC is following the latest COVID-19 protocols from the Province of Ontario and the Simcoe Muskoka Health Unit.  

MBC COVID-19 Update

Thank you for choosing MBC for your retreat or conference.

Under MBC’s COVID protocols, all guests must complete an online COVID screening document and waiver prior to arrival at MBC.


Here is how the current COVID protocols may impact your visit to MBC:

Accommodation Rooms and MBC Cottages

  • Accommodation rooms are cleaned and disinfected prior to your check-in.
  • Towels may be exchanged at the front office at any time during your stay.

Dining Room

  • The Dining Room is open for buffet-style dine-in and take out service.
  • An Ontario COVID-19 vaccine certificate will be required for dine-in service only.
  • Masks are required, other than when you are seated at your table.
  • Gloves and sanitizer are available for your use.

Nightly Camping

  • Nightly camping is open through Thanksgiving weekend.  A limit of 1 household per campsite is in place.

Seasonal Campground Sites

  • Seasonal sites are open with some restrictions
  • Short term rentals and visitors are permitted. Trailer owners must fill out an online form and renters must fill out the COVID waiver.
  • The Nibble Nook store is open (see here for fall hours).  6 foot distancing and masks are required in all indoor spaces.

MBC Acres Cottages

  • Short term rentals are permitted.  Renters must be from a single household.
  • MBC Acres cottage owners and renters must fill out our online COVID waiver.

MBC Recreation and Amenities

  • Outdoor recreation is permitted
  • The Sports Zone is open on weekends and during mid-week group bookings.  Feel free to enjoy tennis, pickleball, mini golf, disc golf and other recreational amenities.
  • The beach is open, with 6 foot distancing required between households.
