Come paddle with us through the Haliburton Highlands Water Trails. Our experienced guides will teach us canoeing techniques and lead us to our camping destination. This adventure is designed for novice to experienced paddlers.

Brian has worked as a classroom teacher, directed an Outdoor Education centre and led canoe trips at Fair Glen for over 30 years. He works seasonally selling canoes, kayaks and paddlecraft. He and his wife, Dianne, have 4 adult children and 7 grandchildren (5 of them have already been out paddling!) He loves helping lead worship on keys, cycling, X-C, snowshoeing and kayaking on Georgian Bay at their new home, near Victoria Harbour. His passion is helping families get out exploring in God’s awesome creation. His colleague and OCE Director successor, Ryan Lamoureux, will be co-leading the trip. See you on the water!

2 nights at campsite • 7 meals • 5 snacks. Saturday morning through Monday afternoon.

Route

We will be trekking into the Halliburton Highlands Water Trails interior from Big Hawk Lake through to Red Pine Lake for the two nights. 

Cost

To calculate your family’s cost, add base trip fee to the guest fees using the prices listed below:

Base Trip Fee: $300 (per family)
Guest Fee: $140 per adult (13 and up)
Guest Fee: $95 per child (12 and under)

All prices are plus HST
