COVID-19 WAIVER / CAMPGROUND REGULATIONS

BETWEEN:
Muskoka Bible Centre Inc. (hereinafter the “MBC”)
8 Pioneer Ave., Huntsville, Ontario, P1H 2J3 (the “Premises”)

-AND-

(1) COVID-19 CAMPERS AND RENTERS GUEST ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

  1. I agree to abide by the current restrictions and regulations as outlined by the Government of Ontario and/or Ontario Public Health as well as the COVID-19 safety protocols of MBC. 

  2. I am not currently experiencing COVID-19 symptoms nor have I had COVID-19 symptoms in the last 14 days.

  3. I have not travelled outside of Canada or in an area under a travel health advisory in the last 14 days.

  4. I have not provided care or had close contact with any person with COVID -19 or with any person reasonably suspected to have COVID -19 or with any person who travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days or with any person who travelled in an area under a travel health advisory in the last 14 days.

  5. I represent and warrant to MBC that I have not been advised by the Government of Canada or Ontario Public Health or my doctor or the Ontario Ministry of Health website to self-isolate due to possible exposure to COVID -19.

  6. I represent and warrant that I will advise MBC immediately if any person in our party or any person visiting us on the Premises has been exposed to COVID-19 or has contracted COVID-19, and further that I will follow any direction from MBC Management or health authorities as it relates to leaving the Premises or isolating on the Premises as a result of COVID-19 exposure or infection.

  7. I am fully aware of the risks and hazards with respect to COVID-19 inherent in my attendance at the MBC and participation in the activities of MBC.

  8. I freely and voluntarily agree to assume the risk with respect to COVID 19, regardless of severity, that I (or my child/ward) may sustain as a result of my participation in the activities of MBC or attendance at MBC, howsoever arising, including negligence on the part of the Releasees.

  9. I waive the right to any cancellation or adjustment of fees should such a scenario arise.

 

(2) MBC Campground Rules and Regulations

Chapel: We encourage you to participate in chapel/children ministry activities as often as possible during your stay.

Wristbands: During the summer season, guests are required to wear a wristband at all times as proof of payment and to use amenities such as the beach, marina, sports zone and recreation amenities.

Check Out: Tent and trailer sites are to be vacated by 12 noon. If you wish to extend your stay, please go to the Campground office before that time to make arrangements. Extensions to reservations are subject to availability.

Pets: NO dogs are permitted in the MBC Campground or Main Resort.

Alcohol and Smoking: MBC enjoys a smoke-free and vape-free environment. Alcohol is prohibited on MBC grounds.

Modest Attire: Due to our focus on family values and the fact that we cater to families from a wide range of backgrounds & cultures, we encourage modesty in all attire. One piece swimsuits or modest tankinis are expected. Please use a coverup or t-shirt if in doubt.

Firewood: Bags of firewood can be purchased at the Nibble Nook. One fire-ring per site is permitted and fires must be supervised at all times. Do not move fire rings or put cans, bottles, or food in fire pits. Fires must be put out when retiring for the evening or leaving the site.

Garbage: All garbage is to be taken to the dumpster. (See Map for exact location). Please do not leave garbage out overnight as it will attract animals and you will have a mess to clean up the next morning.

Vehicles: Maximum speed limit on MBC grounds is 20km per hour. If you do not have sufficient parking on your, please park by the Campground Office.

Campsites: Please keep your site neat and tidy, and respect the guests beside you. Firepits and rocks are to remain where they are located when you arrive. Each tent and trailer site has one picnic table, which is to remain onsite.

Quiet Times: 11:00 pm – 8:00 am

These rules are in place to make your stay in our Campground safe and enjoyable. MBC and its staff are not responsible for accidents, lost articles, or injury incurred by any guest or visitors at this establishment.

By checking the box below, I confirm that I understand that there are inherent and unforeseen risks involved in participating in the activities of MBC or while attending the Premises. I have read this document in its entirety and fully understand its terms. I understand that I am giving up substantial legal rights by signing below, including the right to sue the Releasees. I acknowledge that I am signing this agreement freely and voluntarily and intend my signature to be a waiver and complete and unconditional release of all liability due to the negligence of the Releasees or, the inherent risks of participating in the activities of MBC or while attending the Premises.

  1. I am the parent or guardian of the minor(s) named below (the “Minors”). I give my consent for the minor’s participation in the activities of MBC and to attend the Premises, I represent that the Minor is in good physical condition and acknowledge that I have reviewed, understood and agreed to the terms herein (such terms being interpreted as if they applied both to me and the Minor) and have the legal authority to enter into this Agreement on behalf of the Minor.

  2. I do hereby covenant and agree with the Releasee that I will at all times hereafter indemnify the Releasee of and from all claims and demands, suits or actions or claims for contribution or indemnity whether under the Negligence Act, the Occupiers Liability Act or otherwise which may be made or brought against the Releasee by the said above named Minor, or on his behalf or in any way arising out of the said accident and injuries including the costs of defending any such suits, actions or claims.
