Food Services Department

  • Works to ensure that guests are provided with outstanding dining experiences: hot, fresh, delicious and well-presented food combined with SWEET (Service With Excellence Every Time) guest service.


  • Maintain food quality and appearance as per MBC Guest Food Service Standards including fresh baking, salad bar, soups, main buffet and staff meals
  • Oversee all areas of ordering, preparation, cooking and serving
  • Ensure the kitchen is operated in a safest possible manner; comply with requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Policy by being aware of responsibilities

Hours of Work

  • 40-44 hours per week
  • Physically demanding, heavy lifting involved, weekend work would be required


  • Salaried position, based on experience plus 4% vacation pay

  • Minimum 3 years cooking or baking experience
  • Leadership skills desired
