MBC Kids Ministry

A Perfect Place for Your Kids This Summer

Muskoka Bible Centre loves families! We provide a fun and interactive children’s program offering an intentional experience for each child. Our desire is to see children connect with God and each other in a way that will lay a strong foundation for their faith journey. Our high energy, biblically-based programming will inspire your children to explore and experience God’s truth in everyday life!

Kids Min Summer 2022

Kids Min is designed for children whose parents attend our adult morning chapel. Our doors open 15 minutes prior to the start of chapel so you can drop your child off and arrive on time for morning worship.

Each morning we will have a bible story taught in a memorable way, music they will love to sing, a craft that relates to the lesson they learned and some active outdoor games.

“This year at Youth, my daughter was impacted by one of the speaker’s earlier in the summer. Part of the talk was related to the verse in Jeremiah which talks about the heart being deceitful above all things and who can know it. This was important to her in this culture and time which seems to insist that if it ‘feels’ right, it must be right.”

Resilient Family Workshops – Fridays at 11:00am on the Chapel Patio

We want your family to be growing together, so we’ve brought together a series of workshops on all sorts of topics.

  • Start ‘Em Young: What does it look like to teach our young children about God in a world that says that we have to let them make their own choices? Luke LaRocque, MBC’s Director of Ministry, is in the middle of raising a young family himself. Join him and other parents for a conversation about how to teach our kids to follow God as they grow up in a difficult world. Who knows? You may walk away with some useful resources that your family will use!
  • Hope For Hurting Parents: A facilitated discussion time to encourage parents through the hard seasons. Come on out to engage in conversations with other parents who ‘get it’. Some tools and resources to help build resilience as parents will be shared each week. There will be some specific focus on parenting teens. August 5th: If you’re joining us during Week 5, you’re invited to a third stream of our Resilient Family Workshops: Ellie & Jeff Kendrick are joining us to talk about life for families living with exceptionalities.

Estate Planning & Legacy Giving Workshop – Wednesday, July 13 at 1:00pm and Wednesday August 10 at 1:00pm in the Chapel

Gord Baptist, Fellowship Advancement Director, will be here to engage you in a conversation about planned giving. This will include basic content such as how to set up a will, the importance of power of attorney and exploring how to advance Kingdom work through legacy bequests.

Summer Sounds

Each Saturday night at 7 PM we encourage our guests to join us around the Carousel or Chapel (we will announce the location weekly) for a time of music enjoyment and encouragement.
