Women’s Getaway | Spring 2025

May 30 – June 1, 2025

Women’s Getaway Retreat is designed for women of all ages. Spending time at our spectacular resort facilities set on the beautiful Mary Lake just outside of Huntsville, Ontario. You will be renewed as you are taught from God’s Word. There are plenty of opportunities to unwind and connect with God and girlfriends. And you will be equipped to return home to your busy life. Join us for a great weekend retreat.

Katie is a Bible nerd, bookworm, and daydreamer, but even more so, she is a recipient of God’s incredible grace and a disciple of Jesus. A teacher by trade, Katie was a stay-at-home mom for several years before following her passion for Scripture and going back to school to pursue a Master’s in Biblical Studies. She now works at Capstone Community Bible Church in Etobicoke, overseeing the House Church ministry and serving on the teaching team. She is also the Discipleship Coordinator with the Young Parents ministry at Youth Unlimited (Toronto Youth For Christ). Katie cannot help but share her passion for the Word of God and loves encouraging others to join in the excitement! She lives in Mississauga with her husband, Greg, and their two younger sons, with their oldest son being in Guelph for school.

Over the years, I was never the type to attend a women’s conference. After attending this one, I am already looking at your future schedule to see what is happening at MBC for women. Thank you for all you do for families!

Thank you for always being the best place to go to within 2 hours of my home. I always enjoy everything about it. This year I enjoyed the chipmunks! I know you have no control over the wildlife but that is one of the things that I enjoy also. Everything is always topnotch and the staff are also. I love that place, the staff and the people that I meet when I go there.

It is so refreshing to have the opportunity to spend the weekend with Christian ladies learning, singing, worshipping, sharing, and laughing together
