The Widjiitiwin program fulfills Muskoka Bible Centre’s vision by partnering with community leaders in priority neighborhoods providing children, youth, and families with camp and retreats to help them experience life changing and lasting transformation through encountering God’s great love for them.

With all the demands on our time; work, children, other social commitments, it can be challenging to find time to spend together just with you and your spouse. If you are looking for a romantic retreat near you look no further. MBC is proud to offer this christian retreat designed solely for couples.

Couples Getaway is a weekend for couples to get away from the daily obligations and reconnect. It is a time away to play together through activities provided, to grow together in Christ and to worship together with song and teaching.

– Free Time Activities – Snow Tubing (weather permitting), Snow shoeing, and Hiking trail.

1:30pm – Practicing His Presence: A Meditative Prayer Session

The Prayer Room is Open!

At Muskoka Bible Centre, the breathtaking beauty of God’s creation invites reflection, renewal, and a deeper connection with Him. Free from the noise and busyness of daily life, we have the space to listen, seek, and draw near to the Lord.

Prayer is woven into the very fabric of MBC. Many of our retreats feature a Prayer Room—a peaceful, welcoming sanctuary where you can commune with God and rest in His presence. Whether you seek solitude, a moment of shared prayer with a friend, or the compassionate support of our trained Biblical Care staff, the Prayer Room is a space designed for you to encounter God.

Faith begins with a single prayer—an earnest cry for God’s saving grace. As we journey with Him, prayer remains vital, sustaining and strengthening our walk. Here, you can lay down your burdens, refresh your spirit, and pour out your heart to the One who knows and loves you completely.

MBC is a beautiful place to reconnect with your spouse and be refreshed in God’s creation while being uplifted in the Word of God. We were so blessed by the Biblical teaching, community of believers and exceptional food. The Couples Retreat was a great chance to reset our mind and lives to start the year.
