What is Giving Tuesday?
GivingTuesday – the world’s largest generosity movement
GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, taking place each year after Black Friday. The “Opening day of the giving season,” it’s a time when charities, companies and individuals join together and rally for favourite causes. In the same way that retailers take part in Black Friday, the giving community comes together for GivingTuesday.

Inspiring Generosity. Fueling Discipleship.
On Giving Tuesday, our shared goal is to inspire generosity across the MBC community and raise $100,000 toward youth discipleship and supporting the next generation of Christ-centred leaders.
This year, every dollar given will be split 50/50 between two vital programs that shape the faith and character of young people at Muskoka Bible Centre and Camp Widjiitiwin: Immerse and SALT/LITE.

Immerse | Investing in Young Leaders
(50% of funds raised)
The Immerse program is a crucial part of youth discipleship at MBC. During the late teen and young adult years of a person’s life, they are inundated with cultural and social pressure that wants to pull them away from faith. The Immerse program is specifically designed to attract and engage with young staff at MBC in a way that creates safe, fun and faith-filled opportunities to grow and serve. Staff who participate in the Immerse program tell us that after they spend time with us, they feel a stronger sense of purpose for their lives and that the friendships they create are life-changing.
Your support for student discipleship through the Immerse program allows us to focus on the care and mentorship of young people who will go on to be future leaders in churches, businesses and families across Canada (and sometimes, the world!) is appreciated as we serve together!
SALT/LITE | Training Tomorrow’s Leaders
(50% of funds raised)
The SALT (Skills and Leadership Training) and LITE (Leaders In Training Experience) programs at Camp Widjiitiwin are designed for 14–16 year olds who are beginning their journey into Christian leadership. Through adventure, discipleship, and service, participants are mentored by mature Christian leaders who help them grow in character, faith, and confidence.
These programs are more than just summer experiences. They are the foundation for lifelong discipleship and servant leadership. Many of our current camp and retreat leaders first discovered their calling to serve through SALT/LITE.
Your Giving Tuesday gift will help cover the cost of program development, leadership resources, and camperships so more youth can participate and grow as resilient, Christ-centred leaders.
How You Can Help
Pray for our young leaders and that God would use these programs to deepen their faith and strengthen their calling.

Celebration of Ministry
Sunday, November 30, 2025
As a part of MBC’s Christmas weekend celebrations, everyone is invited to join us for our annual Celebration of Ministry at Muskoka Bible Centre. We are grateful for all God has done and want to share that joy with you! The concert starts at 7:00pm, with hot apple cider and cookies at 6:30pm.
The concert is totally free as a way to say thank you to our Muskoka community for supporting us throughout the year. We will talk a little bit about our fundraising goals for the year, and if you feel led to give, thank you!
Before the concert, we do offer a dinner created by our MBC chef and his team. Enjoy a full salad bar, roast beef with Yorkshire puddings, and maple cinnamon glazed salmon, served with smoked cheddar mashed potatoes, balsamic roasted vegetables, and french bread. End the evening with assorted pies. Tickets are available for this paid dinner opportunity by calling our office at 705-789-0123.
