Recreation for Group Rental Retreats
Planning a group getaway at MBC? Along with your stay, you’ll have access to a variety of seasonal recreation options—from beach fun and mini golf to snow tubing and fireside games.
Looking to add something special? Our Recreation Team can help organize activities like glow-in-the-dark dodgeball, archery, campfires, and more to make your retreat even more memorable.

Marina
Available: Victoria Day – Thanksgiving (weather dependent)
Cost: $60 start-up fee; $60/hour
Make the most of Mary Lake with a private watercraft rental! Choose up to two vessels for your group and enjoy a guided experience led by our Recreation Team. They’ll provide tips, safety briefings, and may even reveal a few hidden gems along the shoreline.
Archery
Available: May – October
Cost: $30 start-up fee; $30/hour
Sharpen your aim and learn the art of archery with your group! Our Recreation Team will guide you through fun challenges at the Ranch to help you build your skills and enjoy some friendly competition.
Axe Throwing
Available: May – October (weather dependent)
Cost: $30 start-up fee; $30/hour
Experience the thrill of axe throwing at the Ranch! Our team will show you the ropes, then it’s your turn to compete, challenge your friends, and hit the mark like a pro.
Glow Dodgeball
Cost: $50 start-up fee; $50/hour
Get ready for high-energy fun under blacklights! Bring your brightest gear and enjoy classic dodgeball games—now with a glowing twist. Our Recreation Team will lead the action and keep the games running smoothly.
Goosechase
Cost: $25 basic; $45 interactive/personalized.
Turn your group into a team of adventurers with this photo scavenger hunt challenge! Complete custom tasks, capture memories, and compete for fun prizes. Add a Recreation Team Member to guide the experience and keep the energy high.
Games Night
Cost: $40/hour
Host the ultimate board game night with our curated collection of games delivered right to your meeting space. Our team member will help set up, explain rules, and make sure everyone’s having a great time—even if it’s your first time playing!
Boat Tours & Cruises
Our marina experiences are a great way to enjoy the outdoors, spend quality time together, and see the beauty of Mary Lake from a new perspective.
Prefer to relax while someone else steers? Hop aboard with one of our experienced MBC boat operators and choose from a variety of scenic outings:
1. River Tours – Enjoy a peaceful ride through Muskoka’s winding waterways.
2. Port Sydney Cruises – Cruise to a nearby lakeside town with great views along the way.
3. Lake Tours – Explore more of Mary Lake and discover some of its hidden spots.

Seasonal Recreation at MBC
Every season at Muskoka Bible Centre brings new ways to connect, play, and enjoy the great outdoors. In the warmer months, soak up the sun on Muskoka’s best beach, challenge friends to a game of mini golf, or enjoy a variety of court and lawn sports. As the weather cools, gather by the fire for indoor games, go snow tubing down our hill, or explore the grounds on snowshoes or a peaceful hike.
Many activities are weather-dependent, and our team keeps a close eye on conditions to ensure a safe and fun experience.

MBC wristbands are required for use of all MBC recreation amenities. Extra cost for Marina rentals. Wristbands are included with your registration (nightly accommodations, campsites, seasonal trailers, MBC Acres). For off-site guests, seasonal wristbands are available for purchase at the front office.
