Widjiitiwin

The Widjiitiwin program fulfills Muskoka Bible Centre’s vision by partnering with community leaders in priority neighborhoods providing children, youth, and families with camp and retreats to help them experience life changing and lasting transformation through encountering God’s great love for them.

Home 5 Widjiitiwin 5 Family Camping at Widjiitiwin

July 25 – August 1, 2026

We know that weeks at MBC are popular, so we’re offering a new experience this summer to help more families get to camp! For one week only in 2026, we’ve added a rustic, family camp experience where parents and kids can enjoy camp together. Families stay in classic camp cabins at Camp Widjiitiwin while enjoying shared meals, campfires, recreation, and time together in a relaxed summer setting. Guests will also have access to the nearby MBC beach and summer recreation opportunities.

As part of the experience, families will also have full access to all MBC Summer Week 5 ministry programming, including Bible teaching, worship, kids ministry, youth programming, and evening events. (Note that some programming, especially Kids Min, is already filling up quickly, so you’ll want to act fast!)

This is a simple and memorable getaway focused on connection, fun, faith, and experiencing camp together as a family.

Pricing

One meal plan price per person covers your whole week of camp meals, from Sunday breakfast to Saturday breakfast. Pricing as follows:

  • $276 for adults (ages 13+)
  • $138 for youth (ages 7-12)
  • Free for children (ages 0-6)

Cabins cost an affordable $560 for seven nights (Saturday to Saturday) and include space for up to 10 people in bunk bed style accommodations. This is a great way for cousins and close friends to spend a week at MBC for an incredible price.

Your week-long experience at Widjiitiwin also includes 3 recreation experiences, including rock-climbing, canoeing, archery and more (pending availability and schedules). Details will be sent to families who book for the week.

The experience offers a more affordable alternative to staying directly at MBC while still giving families access to the full Summer Week 5 ministry experience.
