Sometimes we may think we can only serve people if we go to help in a place that feeds hungry people, if we give money to the needy or if we’re missionaries in a far-away country. Although those are excellent ways to serve people and show them kindness, we have more opportunities all around us to serve others! It could be helping our parents tidy the house, reading a book to our younger brother or sister, cleaning up the litter in our neighbourhood or picking up something someone dropped at the grocery store. It could even be as simple as smiling and saying hello to people we pass on the street. No matter how big or small, we are showing others the love and kindness God has first shown us.
