Widjiitiwin

The Widjiitiwin program exists to address the unique and complex needs of marginalized youth and their families, guided by and empowered by the Holy Spirit and embracing Jesus in a manner consistent with the principles expressed in God’s Word. It is a ministry of Muskoka Bible Centre, rebirthed in 2022 to drive our mission to grow resilient, biblically rooted families to the glory of God.

What is Summer Staff at Muskoka Bible Centre?

Muskoka Bible Centre is excited to be developing a new Student Discipleship Experience, which launches on October 1, 2023. It will contain a lot of the great parts of the Stepping Stones program, plus a whole lot more! If you’re interested in serving at MBC in the summer of 2024, please read the dates and reminders below carefully, then use the form on this page to sign up for a reminder when the applications open!

Important Dates to Remember

Important Dates for Spring & Summer Students
  • October 1, 2023 – New MBC Student Discipleship Program launches!
  • October 1, 2023 – Invitations to Return sent out to students from Summer 2023
  • November 15, 2023 – Deadline for returning students to indicate their interest.
  • December 1, 2023 – Applications open for all available positions.
  • January 2, 2024 – Interviews begin for 2024 positions.
  • May 3, 2024 – Student Leadership Team (SLT) Orientation begins.
  • May 5, 2024 – Spring Crew begins.
  • June 23, 2024 – Summer Team arrives / Staff Development Week.
  • June 29, 2024 – MBC Summer 2024 begins.
Reminders
  • MBC conducts rolling interviews and acceptances to the Student Discipleship Program. This means that offers can be sent before all interviews are completed.
  • Offers may be sent out as early as the end of January, 2023.
  • Applications received earlier will be given first priority for interviews.
  • Standard Police Checks are required for all summer team members who are 18 years and older. They must be current and issued within the 2023 or 2024 calendar year.
